Let’s get you back to normal life.

What is Tennis Elbow?

Tennis elbow, or lateral epicondylitis, is a common cause of elbow pain that occurs with overuse. Typically, this is through repeated motions in your wrist and/or arm that cause stress on the tendons within the elbow. Commonly developed in athletes, hence the name, people whose occupations that require them to use a certain motion or tools can develop tennis elbow as well.

Symptoms include pain where the forearm muscle tendons meet your elbow bone caused by inflammation or micro-tearing in that area. This can result in weakness when grasping and aching in the elbow area.

If you have been labeled with tennis elbow or golfers elbow, you likely have undiagnosed tendon degeneration in your arm that needs specific diagnosis, treatment and management. Stretches, ice, tape, straps, cupping and/or adjustments will not fix adhesion or degenerated tendons. Receiving treatment from a soft tissue specialist is the fastest way to heal.
